In Lilith, renowned criminal psychologist Dr. Evelyn Cross is assigned to evaluate a mysterious woman arrested after a brutal series of unexplained deaths across Los Angeles. The suspect calls herself Lilith, refuses to reveal her true identity, and claims she has existed since the beginning of humanity. Although the authorities believe she is simply a delusional serial killer, Evelyn quickly realizes there is something deeply unsettling about her presence. Cameras malfunction around Lilith, inmates become violently unstable after speaking with her, and several guards mysteriously disappear during the nights she is held in isolation.
Lilith possesses an eerie calmness and extraordinary intelligence. During their interviews, she speaks about ancient civilizations, forgotten empires, and historical events with impossible detail. She tells Evelyn that humanity has spent centuries rewriting her story, transforming her into a monster because people fear women who refuse submission. According to Lilith, she was once created alongside Adam before Eve existed, but after rejecting obedience, she was cast out and turned into a myth associated with darkness and temptation. Evelyn initially dismisses the claims as manipulation, yet she becomes increasingly disturbed when Lilith accurately predicts events before they happen.
At the same time, strange phenomena spread throughout the city. People suffer vivid nightmares involving winged shadows and deserts of fire, while violent crimes begin increasing at an alarming rate. Religious leaders warn of demonic influence, and underground cults emerge worshipping Lilith as a divine liberator. Detective Marcus Vale, the officer leading the investigation, believes the murders are connected to an ancient ritual hidden beneath Los Angeles. As he digs deeper, he uncovers evidence that powerful organizations have secretly monitored Lilith’s appearances throughout history for thousands of years.
Evelyn’s personal life also begins unraveling. She experiences hallucinations, hears whispers in forgotten languages, and discovers symbols carved into the walls of her apartment while she sleeps. Lilith insists these visions are not curses but memories awakening inside Evelyn herself. Gradually, Evelyn learns that her own bloodline is tied to an ancient order sworn to imprison Lilith forever. The order believed Lilith’s freedom would bring the collapse of human civilization by awakening humanity’s darkest desires — rage, greed, lust, and violence hidden beneath society’s fragile rules.
As the boundary between reality and nightmare weakens, Lilith reveals her true purpose. She is not merely seeking revenge against humanity but attempting to stop an even older entity imprisoned beneath the Earth since before recorded history. According to her, religions and empires have manipulated fear of her for centuries because she alone stood against the ancient force known as Abaddon, a cosmic being that feeds on human suffering and chaos. The recent murders were part of a ritual designed by cultists to awaken the entity fully during an approaching lunar eclipse.
In the film’s terrifying climax, Los Angeles descends into supernatural chaos as the eclipse begins. Fires erupt across the city, mass hallucinations spread through crowds, and shadow creatures emerge from beneath abandoned catacombs. Evelyn must decide whether to trust Lilith or fulfill her family’s mission to destroy her forever. Inside an ancient underground temple hidden beneath the city, Lilith confronts Abaddon in a battle that blurs the line between angelic and demonic power. Her immense abilities reveal that she was never fully human, but something far older and more dangerous.
In the end, Lilith sacrifices much of her power to imprison Abaddon once more, but she disappears before authorities can find her. The world returns to normal, though millions remember fragments of the horrifying night. Evelyn publishes her findings but is dismissed as mentally unstable. Months later, while walking through a crowded street, Evelyn catches sight of Lilith watching her from a distance before vanishing into the shadows. The final scene suggests that humanity may never truly understand whether Lilith was its destroyer, its savior, or something in between.
