Tribes of Europa is a dystopian science fiction series set in the year 2074, after a mysterious global disaster has caused the complete collapse of modern civilization. Europe is no longer a united continent but a fractured land divided into numerous rival tribes, each with its own ideology, technology level, and way of surviving. In this harsh new world, borders are enforced through violence, and loyalty to one’s tribe means everything.
The story centers on three siblings—Kiano, Liv, and Elja—who grow up in a peaceful forest community known as the Origines. Their quiet life is shattered when a brutal attack destroys their village, forcing the siblings to flee and separating them across different regions. Each of them is drawn into a different tribe, setting them on diverging paths shaped by power, belief, and survival.

Kiano is captured by the Crows, one of the most ruthless and militarized tribes in Europe. Under constant brutality, he struggles to hold on to his moral compass while learning how power and fear are used to control others. His journey becomes a test of identity, as survival often requires becoming the very thing he despises. The Crows represent a world where strength dominates and compassion is seen as weakness.
Liv, on the other hand, is taken in by the Crimson Republic, a technologically advanced society obsessed with restoring the old world’s order. She begins to believe that structure and control may be the only way to prevent humanity from destroying itself again. As she rises within the Republic, Liv is forced to confront difficult choices that blur the line between justice and authoritarianism.

Elja’s path is the most mysterious. He carries a powerful cube, a piece of advanced technology from before the collapse, capable of changing the balance of power across Europe. Unlike his siblings, Elja tries to stay outside tribal conflicts, guided by empathy rather than ideology. His journey raises questions about whether humanity’s future should rely on technology or learn from the mistakes of the past.
As the series unfolds, the siblings’ stories intersect with political conspiracies, ancient grudges, and looming war between tribes. Alliances shift constantly, and trust is rare. The cube becomes the center of a larger struggle, symbolizing both hope and destruction in a world desperate for direction.
Tribes of Europa explores themes of family, identity, and the cost of rebuilding civilization. Through its gritty world-building and emotional character arcs, the series asks whether humanity can create a better future, or if it is doomed to repeat the same cycle of division and conflict under new names.
