After the death of her newborn daughter at the hands of her lover, Freya’s heart shatters—and in that moment of unbearable grief she discovers her latent powers over ice, transforming her into the unforgiving Ice Queen. Consumed by sorrow and rage, she flees to the frozen north and builds a realm of her own, where she kidnaps children to train as an army of huntsmen, while enforcing one strict rule: never fall in love. Her pain turns to tyranny, and she commands loyalty through fear and cold resolve.
Within this army, two exceptional warriors emerge—Eric and Sara—who, in spite of their conditioning, fall deeply in love. Their secret bond blossoms until Freya’s illusions cruelly trick them: Sara believes Eric abandoned her, while Eric believes Sara lies dead. Their love is torn apart by deception before it truly has a chance.
Years pass, and Snow White sits ill under the corrupting influence of Ravenna’s magical mirror. Determined to protect her from its dark magic, she orders the mirror taken to sanctuary. But when it goes missing, Eric joins forces with the resourceful dwarves Nion and Gryff to retrieve it. In doing so, he unexpectedly reunites with Sara—alive, but embittered by their past, convinced that Eric betrayed her.
Their reunion is tense and emotional, but the truth of Freya’s illusions comes to light, reigniting their bond. Together with their dwarf allies, they retrieve the mirror from goblins, only to face the full force of Freya’s wrath. Sara pretends to betray Eric—her attack is a ruse, and Freya mistakenly resurrects Ravenna’s spirit through the mirror. As the two sisters prepare to rule together, Freya realizes Ravenna orchestrated the murder of her daughter. Enraged, Freya turns on Ravenna, and in the ensuing battle sacrifices herself to help Eric destroy the mirror and end Ravenna’s evil reign once and for all.

In her final moments, Freya sees a vision of her daughter and finds a moment of peace. With both queens gone, the Huntsmen are freed from love’s suppression, and Eric and Sara are finally able to embrace their future together, unburdened by deception or sorrow.
A final glimpse in the post-credits scene shows Snow White standing on her balcony as a golden crow alights beside her—an enigmatic image that hints at lingering magic and new beginnings.
