Popeye the Sailor Man (2025) begins with Popeye living a peaceful life in the seaside town of Sweethaven, spending his days fishing, fixing boats, and enjoying quiet meals with Olive Oyl. Popeye becomes alarmed when he discovers that Flogg is searching for a legendary treasure said to be hidden beneath Sweethaven’s cliffs — the Heart of Neptune, a mystical gemstone rumored to control the tides. Olive Oyl, now working as a journalist, starts investigating Flogg’s past and uncovers evidence that he has plundered coastal towns before, leaving destruction behind. Despite warnings, the townspeople are seduced by Flogg’s promises, leaving Popeye and Olive isolated in their concern.
Complicating matters further, Bluto returns to Sweethaven after months at sea, claiming he wants a fresh start.
