When Hazzard County finally starts enjoying a rare stretch of peace, Bo and Luke Duke think they can take a breather from trouble — until a mysterious stranger rolls into town with a truck full of stolen moonshine and a threat that rattles the entire county. The old recipes that have been passed through generations have been stolen, and whoever has them intends to mass-produce cheap, dangerous copies that could ruin Hazzard’s reputation forever. With Boss Hogg panicking at the thought of losing yet another “opportunity,” the Duke boys know it’s up to them to stop this shady operation before it blows up — literally and figuratively.
As the Duke boys investigate, they discover that the moonshine isn’t just about drink. The stolen formula has been mixed with an experimental additive that causes strange side effects, turning the counterfeit batches into little more than volatile explosives on wheels. When a series of accidental explosions panic neighboring towns, Bo and Luke realize they are dealing with something way bigger than petty crime. Daisy and Uncle Jesse rally the community, turning every barn, shed, and farm into a makeshift research lab to figure out exactly what is happening.

With Rosco hot on their trail — still determined to prove the Duke boys guilty even when they’re saving the county — the chase stretches across back roads, rickety bridges, and the occasional crop field. In classic Duke fashion, the boys outdrive, outsmart, and out-silly every trap the criminals set. Meanwhile, Daisy uncovers a deeper plot: the stranger is working for a corporation that wants to eliminate small-batch producers by making the whole craft unsafe in the public eye.
When the Dukes infiltrate the corporation’s remote distillery, they discover a massive operation using automated stills and chemical injectors. The boys sabotage the production line, but the villain triggers a countdown meant to detonate the entire facility and erase evidence. With minutes on the clock, Bo and Luke race the General Lee through collapsing machinery, dodging sparks, steam, and very angry security guards.

In a chaotic climax, the Dukes cause the facility to shut down safely, expose the corporation’s lies, and save Hazzard’s good name. Rosco, having finally seen the truth, reluctantly admits they might not be the worst citizens after all — though he still writes them up for “driving without appropriate caution” just to save face.
Back in Hazzard, the townsfolk celebrate with safe, genuine moonshine and music under the stars. The Duke boys grin, knowing trouble will always find them, but so will adventure — and that’s exactly how they like it.
