When a mysterious paramilitary organization known as The Forge launches coordinated attacks on tech facilities worldwide, the U.S. government panics. Their leader, the cold and strategic Adrian Korvus, seeks to finish the work Tony never completed — creating a self-evolving AI capable of controlling global defense systems. Korvus believes humanity must be forced into peace, even if it means stripping nations of their autonomy. To achieve this, he needs the last uncorrupted fragment of JARVIS, hidden somewhere within Tony’s encrypted archives.
Enter Riri Williams, now a rising engineer with her own refined Ironheart suit. She is recruited by Happy Hogan and Rhodes to investigate a break-in at the old Stark cabin. There, she crosses paths with Morgan, who has secretly accessed part of Tony’s digital vault. The two clash at first — one trained, one reckless — but when Korvus’s forces ambush the cabin, Morgan discovers an unfinished prototype armor Tony built specifically for her: the Horizon Suit, a design blending defense, adaptability, and Tony’s final lessons on responsibility.
Realizing Korvus intends to upload his AI into a global satellite array, Morgan and Riri join forces with Rhodes, who dons an upgraded War Machine armor. As they follow Korvus’s trail from abandoned Stark facilities to hidden Arctic fortresses, Morgan begins hearing fragments of Tony’s last holographic messages — not instructions, but reflections meant to guide her if she ever chose this path.
The final battle erupts aboard a massive sky-fortress powered by stolen arc reactors. Korvus deploys autonomous Iron Legion knockoffs enhanced by his unstable AI. Morgan’s Horizon Suit, still incomplete, begins to fail — until she uses Tony’s old philosophy: improvise under pressure. Riri disrupts the satellite uplink, Rhodey secures the fortress, and Morgan confronts Korvus, choosing mercy over vengeance, proving she understands Iron Man’s true legacy.
In the aftermath, Morgan declines to become the new Iron Man. Instead, she declares she will be her own hero, honoring Tony by building a future he would be proud of — not by replacing him, but by evolving beyond him.
